Winter Solstice
The winter solstice, December 22 at 5:30 UTC this year, is the shortest day of the year. Flowers make up for that.

Upon recently looking through my photos, I’ve decided I have some interesting photos of my cats, my dog, a Red-bellied Woodpecker, and some Blue Jay hatchlings. And no, the dog’s name is not Toto.
JHU Ice Sculptures
Apparently someone decided there should be ice sculptures at Sunday brunch today. I don’t know why they’re there, but they’re still elegant.
