Glad to see that. As a youngster, we rafted on the Hog River, as we called it, from Love Lane to Farmington Avenue and swam in the section near Homestead Avenue, at our own peril. This was in the 1950’s.

hole is still there. i did this trip based on this article a couple years ago with a group of friends. you want to use that hole, too, because there is a ramp down to the water. most places it’s just a culvert.
