I recently purchased a Canon PowerShot ELPH 330 HS point and shoot camera to replace my aging Canon PowerShot SD770 IS. The new camera has better sensitivity, a considerably wider field of view that will help with aerial photography, and more zoom. However, it did not have CHDK available for it, which I was aware of at the time of purchase. The first thing I did on receipt of the camera was begin porting CHDK to it. A few weeks later, the port was mostly done, and it was recently merged into the trunk.

Thanks a lot for the work you’ve done to port CHDK. I noticed that high shutter speeds are not currently supported for the ELPH 330. Is that a limitation of the camera? My programming skills are very rudimentary (couple of C courses about 25 years ago), but if I can help let me know.
Oops. Guess I should have read the manual. I was wondering what override Tv meant. Nevermind.
I am 100% new to this. I just learned after having my ELPH 330 HS for over a year; this is so I can do time lapse. How do I add this to my camera? Will it affect my extra warranty?
These questions are answered in the CHDK user manual and FAQ.
Any idea when video enhancements would be available in this hack?
I haven’t done any further work on the port.
